Classic Warbirds Take Off Delayed
Originally due to launch on the 10th June 2010, the launch of Classic Warbirds has been delayed by 2 months and the site will now officially launch on the 10th August 2010.
The reason for the delay is due to both the main site and mobile site of Classic Warbirds being revamped during development to provide a much improved navigation and user experience.
The museum guide that also featured on the site has been removed.
Explaining the reason for the delay Cybernic owner Andrew Clayton commented "I would like to apologise for the delay in the launch date, however the extra two
months will give the time needed to make sure that the content still to be added to the site is of a high standard" and on the removal of the museum guide "The ultimate aim of Classic Warbirds
is to be the resource to visit for information on the air war of World War 2 and whilst a museum guide is part of this brief, at the moment information on the aircraft and battles of the
Second World War is the priorty content I want to add"
