CYBERNIC CELEBRATE 5 YEARS AS THE OFFICIAL ONLINE PARTNER OF YORK CITY FC
January 2010 sees Cybernic celebrate the 5th anniversary of being the online partner of York City FC (www.ycfc.net).
It was back in January 2005 that Cybernic were first asked if they were interested in designing and maintaining the official website for York City Football Club. The first version of
the site was launched in August 2005 and was replaced the following August with an new site design. The third version of www.ycfc.net was launched in July 2008.
The summer of 2009 saw the news side of the website being taken over by the club and managed in-house, enabling Cybernic to concentrate on the rest of the site, and the past few
months have seen the site design improved further and more new content added to the site, particularly about the club's history.
Commenting on the last 5 years, Cybernic Owner, Andrew Clayton "When I was first asked to do the official website by the York City Supporters Trust 5 years ago I had no idea I would
still be doing it all these years later! The workload at times has been immense, however I take great pride in what has been achieved over the last 5 years with very little money and
resources available"
Clayton continued "I would also like to pass on my thanks to, Sophie Hicks, Nick Bassett, Ross Potter, Louise Jackson, Lewis Outing, Phil Howden, Steven Gartside, Mark Comer, Ian
Tyssen, Frank Ormston, David Clayton and anyone else I've missed! For all their help and support over the years."
